This role is ideal for someone who excels at communicating technical concepts clearly and effectively—in writing, visuals, and presentations—to a wide range of audiences, including engineers, program managers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.
The ability to translate technical information into clear, usable insights is the most important requirement for this role. You will serve as a bridge between systems, data, and people—ensuring that technical work is understood, documented, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
Translate complex technical concepts, systems, and data into clear written documentation, visual artifacts, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences
Develop high-quality deliverables such as technical briefs, diagrams, process flows, reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
Collaborate with engineers, developers, analysts, and program staff to understand technical requirements and outcomes
Analyze systems, workflows, and technical processes to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
Support requirements gathering, documentation, and validation efforts
Communicate findings, recommendations, and risks clearly to stakeholders at multiple levels
Ensure technical documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with client and project goals
Required Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
Exceptional written and visual communication skills, with demonstrated experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Proven ability to create clear, concise, and well-structured technical documentation
Experience working with technical teams (e.g., software development, data, IT, systems engineering)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
U.S. Citizenship required due to federal government contract requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting federal government clients
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Miro, Lucid, or similar documentation and visualization tools
Experience with requirements analysis, system modernization, or digital transformation efforts
Background in consulting or professional services environments
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Technical work is clearly understood by all stakeholders, regardless of technical background
Documentation and visuals reduce confusion, rework, and risk
Teams rely on you as a trusted translator between technical and non-technical perspectives
Stakeholders consistently provide positive feedback on clarity and usability of deliverables
