Senior Consultant

Position Summary

Motivf is looking for an experienced consultant to support strategic, complex, and fast-paced client initiatives and internal projects. We are looking for someone to ensure initiative alignment with business strategy, formulate high-level project objectives and project scope, identify impacts, and build projections through business interviewing and analysis activities.

Work You’ll Do:

  • Clearly communicate and engage in a creative, collaborative design process with cross-functional business and technology teams

  • Communicate and collaborate proactively with clients to analyze information and functional needs and deliver functional requirements, business requirements, and user stories

  • Create dashboards, briefings, and/or presentations

  • Define key metrics and set goals for client initiatives

  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs

  • Perform requirements gathering through interviews, document and artifact analysis, facilitated workshop sessions, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, user stories, scenarios, businessanalysis, task and workflow analysis

  • Provide subject matter expertise in one or more industries and bring best practices into client planning discussions

  • Quickly understand, create and document multiple inter-related business processes of varying complexity

  • Research innovative and cutting edge techniques and methodologies

  • Review the work of junior team members and provide feedback and recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives and strategies

  • A strategic thinker with highly developed problem solving skills, strong planning and execution abilities who is flexible and can balance competing demands while working in a dynamic organization

  • Ability to build relationships across teams, departments, and clients

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or other relevant field

  • Excellent leadership, relationship management, presentation and communications skills that establish trust, credibility and respect

  • 5-7 years as a client-facing analyst. with demonstrated progression of responsibility including 3 years of supervisory/management experience

  • Motivational leadership, inspiring cross-functional team to deliver top quality materials under tight deadlines

  • Proactive critical thinking; drawing conclusions, find creative solutions, structured problem-solving approach

  • Self-starter with tons of initiative, creativity, and drive

  • Sound decision-making skills based in client, and industry knowledge

  • World-class written and oral communication/presentation skills with proven persuasive skills with clients

  • U.S. Citizenship (due to client requirements)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret or Top Secret Clearance

  • Ability to work under pressure with teams and independently

  • Bilingual in at least one other language plus English

  • Ability to travel frequently to client locations nationwide
