People Team/HR Intern
Do you like building teams? Can you figure out what people’s strengths are before they even say what they do? Are you good at finding hidden talent? If so, we are looking for a talented, organized individual to join our People team as an intern.
Work you’ll do:
In your role, you will be responsible to:
Coordinate candidate screens, online and in-person interviews, and other communications between the candidate and Motivf.
Assist with electronic file audits and data entry in compliance with policies and procedures.
Post new positions on various websites including LinkedIn, Handshake and other relevant job posting sites.
Proofread and edit documents, including offer letters and agreements, NDA’s and other formally written communications to the wider Motivf team.
Assist with employee relations event management (trimester meetings, team lunches and happy hours) and coordination including all of the logistics from invites and catering to managing presenters and assisting with content.
Ability to track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects
Demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to maintain strict confidentially
Ability to think quickly on your feet and solve problems without direction
Motivation to learn new tasks and skills
Polished and professional organization, time management and communication skills
Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Human Resources, or start-up management/administrative fields
Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications such as Google Team Drive, Slack and Trello
Familiar with HR documentation and policies.
This internship is unpaid. Paid part-time work is currently available both on-site and remote. Full-time positions are opening up and we always prefer to promote from within.
