Aligning community preparedness programs with new strategic plans.
After release of the client's strategic plan, the program management plans (PMPs) for preparedness initiatives were misaligned with many of the values and priorities expressed in the new document.
Motivf staff recognized the need to adapt the language and content of the PMPs to reflect the new goals and priorities of the client's leadership.
All PMPs were modified to reflect the client’s strategic goals and priorities.
How we did it
Our team met with the client's program leads to discuss the incongruities between the new strategic plan and the PMPs. Federal staff agreed with our assessment and requested that all PMPs be modified to align with the new strategic direction. Acting proactively, our team had already drafted the new PMPs and delivered them immediately following the meeting.
