Work you’ll do:
In your role, you will be responsible to:
Supporting the GIS data collection program in fast-paced environment and producing quality GIS data
Responsibilities include geo-modeling, spatial analysis, base map elements, and presentation map creation and all areas of research, coding, and updating in compliance with data management unit (DMU) practices
Produces cross-tabulations and conducts a basic statistical analysis of datasets
Preparing templates, data schemas, collection applications and surveys
Develop and maintain QA/QC checks, tools, and SOP’s
Post Processing GPS data for loading into schemas
Capacity to learn new data management systems quickly
An eye for detail
Familiarity with data science and data visualization
Pursuing bachelor’s degree in GIS or related field
Self-Starter with tons of initiative, creativity, and drive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Python web application development experience
Credentials in Geographic Information Systems, Informatics, or related experience
Familiarity with geospatial data management tools, geo-processing algorithms, and geostatistical analysis
Familiarity with GPS data collection and assessment
Paid part-time work is currently available both on-site and remote. Full-time positions are opening up and we always prefer to promote from within.
