Position Summary

When you see a great classroom experience, is your first thought, “how could I do that online”? Do you know how to make a group of students feel like they’re in the same room? We are looking for an experienced e-learning developer and online training expert with a solid background in Instructional Systems Design.   

Work You’ll Do:

• Create distance-learning alternatives to existing course materials

• Produce and manage synchronous and asynchronous online classrooms

• Develop and modify distance learning products for use across multiple platforms, devices, and operating systems

• Develop a wide range of distance learning materials, including presentation slides, instructor and learner guides, quick reference materials, tutorials, interactive exercises, and webinars/podcasts

• Monitor, review, and evaluate the effectiveness and usability of learning products

• Plan, develop, and conduct training classes and workshops

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of training experience including applied Instructional Systems Design

• Fluency in the following systems: Blackboard Learning Management System 9.1, Adobe Connect, Microsoft Office (including, Outlook, Sharepoint, and Publisher)

• Working knowledge of software authoring tools (Captivate, Articulate, Presenter, or Moodle)

• Familiarity with the ADDIE model and Kirkpatrick’s approach to learning and training evaluation

• Excellent communication, team-building, and presentation skills

• Ability to work successfully with teams, independently, and under
  pressure

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
